1. Introduction
VibeMath ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered math tutoring and video creation platform available at vibemath.app and on mobile. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show you third-party ads. Your math content is used solely to deliver the service to you.
2. Data We Collect
Account information
- Name and email address (provided when you sign in with Google)
- Profile photo (from Google account, optional)
- Account creation date and last active timestamp
Math content you create
- Math problems and questions you type or speak into the app
- Chat messages exchanged with the AI tutor
- Videos generated from your prompts
- Quizzes and study plans created by you or generated for you
Usage and performance data
- Feature interactions (which screens you visit, which actions you take)
- Error reports and crash logs (anonymised stack traces)
- App version, device type, and operating system
Subscription and billing data
- Subscription tier and billing status (managed by RevenueCat — we never see card numbers)
- Purchase and renewal timestamps
3. How We Use Your Data
- Service delivery — answering your math questions, generating videos, tracking your quiz progress
- AI processing — your prompts are sent to Google Gemini and/or Anthropic Claude APIs to generate answers and videos. No data is used to train those models without separate consent.
- Account management — authenticating you, managing your subscription, sending transactional notifications
- Safety and abuse prevention — detecting and blocking harmful or off-topic content
- Product improvement — aggregated, anonymised usage analytics to understand which features work well
4. Data Retention

5. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following processors only to the extent necessary to deliver the service:
- Google Firebase / Firestore — authentication and database hosting
- Google Cloud Storage — video file storage
- Google Gemini API — AI text generation and text-to-speech
- Anthropic Claude API — AI text generation (fallback)
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management
- Cloudflare — network edge and DDoS protection (no data stored)
None of these processors are permitted to use your data for their own purposes beyond service delivery.
6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your account and all associated content
- Data portability — request an export of your content in a machine-readable format
- Restriction — ask us to stop processing your data in certain ways
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
To exercise any of these rights, visit our Support page to request account deletion, or email us at support@vibemath.app. We will respond within 30 days. Account deletion is processed within 7 business days. Some data (billing records) must be retained for legal compliance and cannot be erased early.
7. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Upon deletion, we will permanently remove your profile, generated videos, chat history, quizzes, study plans, collections, and all other content within 7 business days.

If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it via Google Play before requesting deletion to avoid further charges. Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by tax and legal compliance.
8. Children's Privacy
VibeMath is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact support@vibemath.app and we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, Firebase Authentication for identity, and IAM-restricted access to production systems. No internet transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
